Read ArticleQuick Tips
Book Early for Winter Sun
December to February slots at Costa del Sol and Algarve clubs fill fast. Secure your preferred courts 8-12 weeks ahead.
Groups of 8+ Get Best Value
Larger groups unlock better accommodation rates, private court hire, and dedicated coaching blocks.
Midweek Flights Save Money
Tuesday and Wednesday departures are typically 30-40% cheaper than weekend flights to Spain and Portugal.
Travel Insurance with Sports Cover
Standard policies often exclude racket sports. Verify your cover includes padel before you travel.
Dietary Requirements
Most resorts and clubs cater to dietary needs, but mention requirements early so we can confirm with venues.
Build in a Rest Day
Five days of padel is intense. We always recommend at least one rest day for recovery and sightseeing.
Common Questions
Do I need to bring my own racket?
Most clubs offer racket hire, but regular players prefer their own equipment. If you bring your own, check your airline's sports baggage policy. We can advise on the best carriers for racket transport.
What happens if it rains?
All destinations on our list have indoor or covered court options. In the unlikely event of weather disruption, we reschedule sessions or move to alternate venues with no extra charge.
Can beginners join group trips?
Absolutely. We match players by level for coaching and match play. Beginners often benefit most from structured coaching weeks in Spain or Portugal, where instruction standards are high.
How far in advance should I book?
For winter sun destinations (December-February), book 8-12 weeks ahead. For spring and autumn, 4-6 weeks is usually sufficient. Summer gets busy — 10+ weeks recommended for peak July-August.
Is travel insurance included?
We do not include insurance, but we strongly recommend policies with sports cover. We can suggest providers who specifically cover padel and racket sports abroad.
